So, here I am, staring down the barrel of the New Year, armed with a latte and a dream: to finally nail those New Year’s cleaning resolutions.
You know, those promises we make to transform our homes from ‘whoa’ to ‘wow’ without breaking a sweat?
Yeah, those.

I am! Ugh!
Those pesky stains are a real eyesore on my shower doors, windows, and even glassware.
And no matter what I do to wipe them away or scrub them away, they don’t go away!

Even the word “declutter” sounds like a day-long affair. I mean, how can anyone possibly declutter their home in only 15 minutes a day?
This is what I grapple with every single day in my small home.
So, when I was totally obsessed with my temporary barn door for my kitchen/living space, I was also looking at bathroom pocket doors!
I mean, even though this is a three story house, it’s old and that means non-existent closet space and smaller bathrooms.
One of my hated chores turned into my absolutely favorite chore.

Over at our home, I ended up storing all our scarves (and mitts to boot) in a freakin’ reusable Toys R Us bags.
I then stored them in the entryway closet and everything was fine….until it wasn’t fine.
Over the years, I’ve become somewhat of a cleaning expert (thanks, kids!) and have tried just about every cleaning product under the sun to get my first apartment and then my home spic and span clean.
From tackling tough grime in the bathrooms to removing pesky stains on the carpet, I’ve learned which products are worth the hype and which ones just don’t cut it.
Laundry day waits for no one.
